I looked at what most companies in the sports industry do, & I'd say they broadly fall in the following categories

Sports Clothing & Accessories
Owning & Operating a Sports Team / Club

A lot of businesses in these categories are doing great work, but most of them need a lot of money & time to build a moat around them.
